Mindfulness Course

Mindfulness is a critical skill that will aid children in developing skills which enable them to pay attention more effectively, cope with day to day stresses and strains, and get on better with each other. Designed to promote wellness, resilience and emotional intelligence, this program teaches children about mindful awareness of self, other and surroundings. Children learn to be less reactive and more responsive, less judgmental and more curious, less stressed and more at ease.

This 8 week course incorporates breath awareness, visualisations, simple meditations, and emotional literacy; we also explore themes such as happiness, kindness, courage, resilience, the power of thought, self regulation and self-esteem. Through the course, children will learn valuable tools and self-empowerment techniques that prepare them for success at school and in life.

This course is available for schools and for private tuition or groups.
